College Access Coach - New Rochelle

Let's Get Ready is looking for College Access Coaches to be on the front lines of educational equity as tutors, role models, and mentors. These volunteer coaches guide small groups of high school students as they begin the college application process. College Access Coaches can specialize in either math or verbal sections of the SAT, and Let's Get Ready provides a detailed curriculum, training and support.

Coaches commit to:

• Teaching 3 hours a week in the evening for 9 weeks 
• Dedicating 1 hour a week to prep time
• Serving as role models and guides to students
• Coaches must be available from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Mondays and/or Wednesdays from mid-June to early August

Coaches are undergraduate (preferred) or graduate students. All majors are encouraged to apply.
