Opportunity Details
There is an old saying on farms: "Many hands make light work." Taking care of horses, donkeys, goats, camels, llamas, and hundreds of other animals sure is a big job. Stalls need to be cleaned, buckets have to be scrubbed, tack needs to be maintained, and animals need to be fed.
Volunteers of all ages and abilities are invited to spend a day with the Green Chimneys staff to see what life is like on the farm and to learn how to take care of the animals. Come dressed for the weather and be prepared for a fun and interesting morning of hands-on work in the barns!
Note: All volunteers under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult to participate. Express interest as a family, group, or team to add young volunteers to your team.
