2020 Administrative Associates
The Administrative Associate will provide executive support for the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry Board. The volunteer should have administrative experience, superior organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a remote volunteer position.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates on behalf of Board President with Board members
- Coordinates with Board President on preparation and distribution of meeting materials, agenda, minutes, and recording of Board resolutions
- Oversees Document Retention Policy and document archives
- Develops and maintains corporate calendar
- Oversees compliance matters
- Oversees transition to and day-to-day operation of Board communication and document archiving software
Qualifications:
- Expert written and verbal communications skills with ability to communicate persuasively and to proofread
- Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines and prioritize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as an effective member of a team
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in related field (Communications, Non-profits, Administration)
- Broad-based computer skills, adept with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Google Sheets, DropBox
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information at all times
Schedule:
5-10 flexible hours per week from home
