Long Distance Trails Crew Work Weekend
The Long Distance Trails Crew of the New York-New Jersey Trails Conference will continue the project of relocating the Upper Nyack Trail in Hook Mountain State Park, Upper Nyack, NY. Volunteers will park at the Marydell Faith and Life Center located off of Larchdale Avenue in Upper Nyack, just east of intersection with Midland Avenue. Meeting time is 8:30 a.m. with work to begin at 9 a.m.
MANDATORY:
Bring water, work gloves, sturdy shoes (preferably work boots), and lunch. Safety glasses are required. If you do not have your own, safety glasses and hard hats will be provided and it is required that they are worn.

Annual Volunteer Service Agreement:
Effective January 1, 2017, all volunteers who work in parks managed by the New York State Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) must complete an annual Volunteer Service Agreement (VSA).The agreement is valid through December 31 of the calendar year in which it is signed.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 12+, Minimum Age:18+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
