Opportunity Details
STEM Alliance is looking for volunteers to help kids and their parents from the Larchmont/Mamaroneck School District discover science, technology, engineering, and math through fun activities. No experience is needed—just an enthusiasm for elementary students and STEM!
Volunteers will oversee a table with a fun activity that kids and parents can participate in. Volunteers show up 45 minutes before the programs begin to help set up and get acquainted with their project; the programs then start at 6 p.m. Volunteers can express interest in one or more of the eight available evenings. Those who are participating in order to fulfill a service requirement can receive an acknowledgement letter from STEM Alliance; please indicate if this is needed while communicating with the volunteer coordinator.
