LOFT Helpline Intern

The LOFT: LGBTQ+ Community Center | http://www.loftgaycenter.org

The LOFT Helpline provides community supports and referrals on an over-the-phone, email, and drop-in basis. Contacting the Helpline can connect community members to LGBT-affirming resources around the region.

LOFT Helpline Interns will:

Respond to LOFT Helpline calls and emails in a timely manner
Assist with the management of Helpline database
Research and assist in screening new contacts for Helpline database
Other duties as necessary

Specific skills needed:

Proficiency in Excel and web-based search engines like Google
Ability to talk on the phone and communicate well
