Lifting Up Westchester aims to reduce food waste in Westchester County while offering entrees made with seasonal ingredients to locals in need.
Volunteers are needed to interact with soup kitchen guests to collect feedback and data to help the organization better serve the community. Shifts run from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on a weekday of their choosing (either Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday). Volunteers must be 21 to be considered and they will be subjected to a background check. Offsite metered parking is available.
