Opportunity Details

Tutor for High School Students

Overview:
Throughout the past few years, there has been a drive to increase the influential presence in the lives of today’s younger generation. Mentorship programs, sports organizations, not-for-profits and a host of other initiatives have rolled up their sleeves to provide greater awareness and opportunities for boys of color throughout the nation. The concept of R.E.A.D.Y. – Reaffirming Every Aspect of my Developmental Years is a 4-phase process of instilling quality social enrichment, development of academic behaviors and life preparation skills for youths between the grades of 5th and 12th grade. These age groups are the foundations of the development of a child, whether its career prep, scholastic behaviors, social involvement and communal integration. The overall goal is to develop a maturation of skills and behaviors needed for these students to achieve as they are promoted from each level of the program.
