Opportunity Details

2018 Annual Teen Symposium Facilitators

Hope’s Door is hosting its 20th Annual Teen Symposium, which aims to raise awareness about abuse in teen relationships for an expected 300 teens from high schools across Westchester County. We are looking for a total of 50 professional facilitators to lead the "break out" workshops, the focus of which is to create a peer-to-peer discussion about the topics of the day. Below you will find full event details for the Teen Symposium.

Additionally, for anyone volunteering as facilitator or co-facilitator, Hope's Door is hosting a mandatory one-day training at our office in Hawthorne, NY. This training will outline the details of the event and exactly what is expected of the facilitators, which is why it is mandatory for all to attend. Below you will also find full details for the training.

Your participation is greatly appreciated and needed in the success of this important event! Please RSVP by September 24th if you would like to facilitate/co-facilitate a group this year. Please call Kristen Orlando at 914-747-0828 ext. 1014 or email her at TeenSymposium@hopesdoorny.org if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you soon and we anticipate another successful and educational event!
