Hope’s Door, a nonprofit 501(c)3 charity that works to end domestic violence and to empower survivors to achieve safety, independence, and healing from the trauma of abuse, seeks a pro bono consultant to lead an upcoming strategic planning process.
The goal is to start the process in December and have the finalized plan approved by the board in May 2019.
Scope of work includes:
-Establish a working group of board members, staff members, advisory board members, and key volunteers to facilitate a strategic planning process.
-Conduct a SWOT analysis to see what we are today.
-Assess how internal and external stakeholders perceive us.
-Assess where we fit within the domestic violence services sector.
-Develop, explore, and facilitate in-depth discussion of key strategic questions.
-Prepare and present the details of the strategic planning process that makes the argument that the proposed plan is the right approach.
-Prepare the written strategic plan for review/revision/acceptance by the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team.
