Opportunity Details
Support Connection provides free support services and programs for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Services include individual counseling, support groups, wellness classes, educational forums, resources and referrals, and a toll-free cancer information hotline (800-532-4290.) Counseling is provided by the professional Peer Counselors on staff who are cancer survivors themselves.
Support Connection welcomes volunteers of all ages to assist with office tasks in its headquarters in Yorktown Heights, as well as with special events and outreach throughout the local community to spread the word about its many programs and services.
