Opportunity Details
Helpline Counselors provide emotional support over the phone to callers who have been victims of various types of crimes such as sexual assault, domestic violence, physical assault, and robbery. They also provide information about Victim Assistance Services' programs and provide information and referrals about local services and agencies.
Helpline volunteers commit to at least four shifts per month; these shifts occur overnight and on weekends. Spanish-speaking volunteers are encouraged to apply!
