Opportunity Details
Volunteers will join site supervisor and Liberty Coca-Cola staff member, Joseph Bogdanto, to conduct a garbage cleanup along the shoreline at the Liberty Coca-Cola site in Elmsford. Wear sturdy shoes (no flip-flops!), long pants and long sleeves to protect from ticks and poison ivy; bring gloves if you have them and carry water to stay hydrated. We'll have equipment, trash bags, and a limited supply of gloves.
Register here to agree to the photo release form and record your T-shirt size. Volunteers must be 18 or older. Rain date: Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Directions: Look for the Westchester Skating Academy sign off of 9A, Saw Mill River Rd. After pulling onto Fairview Park Drive, find parking by the last Coca-Cola building on the left. The site is the Liberty Coca-Cola Distribution Center.
