10th Annual Great Saw Mill River Clean Up: Hearst Street Site - Yonkers

Volunteers will join site supervisor and Groundwork Hudson Valley staff member, Ann-Marie Mitroff, to conduct an invasive vine removal (under supervision) and garbage cleanup along the shoreline of the Saw Mill River at the Hearst Street site in Yonkers. Wear sturdy shoes (no flip-flops!), long pants and long sleeves to protect from ticks and poison ivy; bring gloves if you have them and carry water to stay hydrated. We'll have equipment, trash bags, and a limited supply of gloves.

Register here to agree to the photo release form and record your T-shirt size. Volunteers must be 18 or older. Rain date: Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Directions: This site is located off of Hearst Street and Nepperhan Avenue. Volunteers will meet at the corner of Hearst Street and Nepera Place.
