Opportunity Details
Volunteers will join site supervisor and Village of Ardsley Stormwater Manager, Lorraine Kuhn, to conduct a garbage cleanup along the shoreline at the Bridge Street Plaza site in Ardsley.
Wear sturdy shoes (no flip-flops!), long pants and long sleeves to protect from ticks and poison ivy; bring gloves if you have them and carry water to stay hydrated. We'll have equipment, trash bags, and a limited supply of gloves.
Register here to agree to the photo release form and record your T-shirt size. Volunteers must be 18 or older. Rain date: Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Directions: This site is located in the area near Riviera Bakehouse. The river runs near the NYS Thruway Interstate 87. Bridge Street Plaza is off of Saw Mill River Road/9A. Use "660 Saw Mill River Road, Ardsley, NY 10502" for GPS directions.
