MAC Angels Foundation supports families with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's disease, which is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. MAC Angels Foundation's services are free and depend on the unique situation of each family.
MAC Angels Foundation volunteers may drive families with ALS to their clinic appointments, help to build ramps, provide durable medical equipment loaners, and offer information about the MAC Angels Foundation at community events.
