2017-2020 Caregiver Support Volunteers

Caregiver support volunteers provide emotional support to caregivers of patients in our caregiver support room, at the bedside of the patient, or at our Center for Cancer Care.

In addition to providing emotional support, volunteers help caregivers think through decisions, identify options, create a "to do" list when appropriate, and prioritize issues.
 
  • An orientation and training will be provided.
  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • Past experience of taking care of a loved one with medical needs is required.
  • Dates and times vary: mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekdays and weekends.
