Bi-Lingual Spanish, French & Haitian-Creole Speakers: Legal Immigration Clinic

Volunteers are needed to assist at a Free Legal Immigration Clinic, Friday, March 2nd, 2018.

Dedicated and personable volunteers are needed for information gathering, legal screenings, and TPS application assistance. You will meet with prospective clients, gather information about their journey to the United States, their life histories, and work with Catholic Charities attorneys to inform immigrants about their rights and legal options.
 
  • Training will be provided in advance.
  • ​Spanish, French or Haitian-Creole language fluency preferred, but not required.
Two shifts are available:
  • 9:00am - 1:30pm
  • 1:00pm - 5:30pm

Training: We will provide training on our screening tool as well as the clinic format live in advance, as well as via a webinar link. The webinar will be broadcast live and will also be sent as a recording for those who cannot be available for the live broadcast.
