Attend a Hunger Relief Corps Team Leader Training!
As a leader in the Hunger Relief Corps, you’ll work closely with the Program Manager at Volunteer New York! and project partners. You’ll make a commitment to help manage a volunteer project for a few hours each week or month, depending on the project. During the training we’ll cover the following topics: • A leader’s role and its value • Volunteer & project management • Communicating with volunteers • Taking attendance • How to use our cloud software • Summarizing the project • Documenting/marketing the event • Agency and hunger knowledge • Sharing your passion/advocating for the cause We’ll also talk about expectations: Commit at least six months to your project and participate at least once a month. You will monitor attendance, share status reports, and attend planning sessions with Volunteer New York! personnel and project partners as needed. Sign up for a session today!
