Mentor Program 1 Year Program
Our goal is to provide services that reduce crime and incarceration, improve behavioral health, Build Sportsmanship. Youth in our programs are required to bring in regular grade reports/transcripts. Match youth with a mentor for one year- participants will meet with their mentor a month to discuss career goals, academics, life skills etc. Responsibilities: Have the ability to plan one on one activities Manage parent contact list to ensure all children are approved for trips Manage permission slips Be able to meet with your Mentee Once a month. Attend On going trainings Encourage mentee to excel in school Attend Group mentor and Mentee workshops Requirements: High School Diploma or GED (Some College) Be willing to Consent to a background check One Year Commitment require Be Able to manage various event planning details Be a Role model for youth Perform well in a fast paced environment Able to manage heavy traffic during regular events Experience with email and social media a plus Please contact Dominique Winters Program Coordinator for more details. 914 349-2959 #IG009
