The Youth Community Outreach Program (Y-COP) will celebrate its 5th Annual Community-wide Toy Drive on December 23rd, beginning at 6:00 p.m.; located at 227 East Lincoln Avenue in Mount Vernon. It’s that time of year again when we think of those less fortunate than us and try and bring a smile to the face of a deserving kid in the community. A variety of toys will be given out to children, ages 3 to 13 just in time for Christmas. The evening will be celebrated with Christmas carols, Santa helpers, food and other family-friendly entertainment. Each year, we touch the lives of more than 200 kids. Sharing and giving is the reason for the season, so please consider making a donation to help a family celebrate a wonderful holiday this year. Please consider donating the following to support the Christmas Toy and Gift Drive: • New unwrapped toys • Department store gift cards (valued at $25.00 or more) • Holiday gift wrapping paper • Water, juice or soda
