Help at the Farmers Market

Volunteers are needed to help at the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Farmers Market. Volunteers will help with the market set up: putting out the parking and welcome signs, adding market info to the chalkboard, and setting up tents, tables, and chairs. 

Once the market opens, volunteers will assist with:

• Managing market customers sign up for information,
• Signing up more volunteers for the TaSH,
• Counting entering customers 10 minutes/hour,
• Greeting custmers,
• Greeting community organizations, performers, and activity leaders
• Helping to answer questions about SNAP/WIC
• Directing questions to Market manager (as needed)

This project is a part of 9/11: Serve + Remember.

About Rivertowns Village Green: Rivertowns Village Green Inc. (RVG) is a NYS nonprofit run by local volunteers from Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow.  RVG was created to operate a vibrant farmers market for our diverse community.
