We are looking for a communications specialist to help further the mission of Connections, a mentoring program based out of The Children's Village. This role will directly report to the Executive Director and Founder. Job duties are, but not limited to: -weekly updates to our Facebook page -exploring other social media opportunities and cost benefit analysis of participation -continuation of our current dialogue ‘Mentor Monday' storyline -sharing our message and what we do in a personal and engaging way -periodic creation of flyers, posters, and other similar materials for recruiting, fund raising and general awareness -create the content (not the technical work) of our website and regular updating to be posted in coordination with The Children’s Village web master -other duties as assigned This is an excellent opportunity for a college student/recent graduate or working professional looking to expand his/her portfolio in marketing and communications.
