Volunteer New York! has partnered with the Westchester Community College Foundation to run a community garden. The harvested food will be shared with food pantries and other hunger-relief partners. Volunteers are needed to help maintain the garden through the summer months. Tasks include watering, weeding, and adding a little TLC. No experience needed! Wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed shoes; all tools provided. (If you have been exposed to poison ivy, please wash your skin with Dawn dish liquid when you get home.) Please complete the WCC volunteer form provided and take it with you when you go to the garden.
