Join Friends of FDR State Park at 6th annual "I Love My Park Day" ( Meet at French HIll School Parking Lot, 2051 Baldwin rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598. Learn about another place to walk in FDR State Park. Trim back vegetation on the Mohansic Golf Course. If you are interested in helping build a bridgeover the outlet from Crompond, contact info@fofdr.org for more information. Bring water and work gloves; Lopers, and clippers if you have any. I love my Park Day is an exciting statewide event, organized by Parks & Trails New York (PTNY) in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation (OPRPH) and local friends groups, to celebrate and enhance New York's parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park system and its needs.
